Jeff & John

When the National Grand Prix World Series Of Spades Champions were held, the experts were crowned. Jeff Higgins (OH) and John Crehan (NY) were congratulated for winning the Fifth Annual Grand Prix Nationals. The tournament was held in November 2006 in Cincinnati.  Jeff and John were qualified at the Myrtle Beach Spades event that past August. Their game was not any cup of tea and had taken great skills to achieve the victory. They breezed through the difficult six-round Swiss format, with a Match Play record of 5-1, and then went undefeated in the Playoffs en route to the title and $ 1000 in cash.
