New Zealand had the newest edition of board games. This edition was introduced which included the game of Monopoly too. The aim and purpose for this attempt was charity. With a view to celebrate the opening of season 2009, the NZRU had a tie-up with KidsCan children's charity to create the limited edition release. Kieran Read being based from a humble place, had a generous heart to participate and play a limited edition All Blacks Monopoly board game that had the proceedings going towards the New Zealand Rugby's Union official charity children's charity KidsCan Stand Tall.
