Monopoly
The game of Monopoly is recognized after the economic concept of monopoly, the domination of a market by a single board. In the business world, this game is most famous in United States history, with 485 million players all over the world. Monopoly was published by Parker Brothers, a subsidiary of Hasbro. Charles Darrow patented the game in 1935, after which approximately 750 million people have played the game; making it the most played (commercial) board game in the world.
While many of us may have played our first game of Monopoly during school days, adults of all ages still enjoy the attractive game of market domination and money making. The beauty of the game of Monopoly keeps older minds fresh and teaches younger minds valuable concepts such as strategy, arithmetic, accounting, cooperation and social and business interaction.
