Tournaments

In the early 1990’s a series of Waldo Canasta tournaments took place in Waldowood which gave rise to the Waldo Canasta Championships and this was revived occasionally through 2001. The collective name for all tournaments derives from an original “Waldo Canasta Championship” that was played in 1989.
